Project Overview
MovieBoom is a React Native mobile application designed to help movie enthusiasts discover, rank, and share their favorite films with friends and the broader community. The app provides a personalized movie recommendation system based on user preferences and social connections.
As both the designer and developer of MovieBoom, I created an intuitive interface that makes it easy for users to find movies, follow friends, and receive personalized recommendations based on their viewing habits and preferences.

Development Process
MovieBoom was built using React Native with Expo Go for rapid development and cross-platform compatibility. The development process focused on creating a responsive, intuitive interface while ensuring smooth performance across different devices.
The user experience was prioritized throughout the design process, with multiple iterations of user testing to refine the interface and feature set. The recommendation algorithm was developed to balance personal preferences with social discovery, creating a unique way to find new movies.
